Questions owners ask
Is this a calendar and email tool?
No. Mail and calendar are the first things people try because they're easy to test. Otto does the work a capable colleague would: research, documents, numbers, follow-ups, customer questions, across your whole team.
Can Otto send email as me?
Yes, from your own Gmail address, and only when you tell it to. Otto always shows you the draft first unless you ask it to send straight away.
What is a request?
One thing you ask Otto to do, however many steps it takes. “Find a slot with Dan, send the invite and tell me when it’s done” is one request. A Monday numbers doc that Otto builds on its own is one request each week.
Who at Otto can see my data?
Nobody, in the normal course of business. Your data is encrypted with a key unique to your company. Support staff can look only if you ask us to and give permission for that case.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes. Anyone in your Slack workspace can talk to Otto. Each person connects their own Google account, so Otto only reads mail it has been given permission to read.
What if I cancel?
Otto stops the same day and your data is deleted within 30 days. You can export your memory and docs first; the docs are already in your Google Drive anyway.
